James Kelly Obituary
James J. Kelly, age 28, passed away on Monday, October 22, 2012 in Oxnard, CA. He was born on May 1, 1984 in Oak Lawn, IL to his surviving parents, James W. and Ruth (nee Healy) Kelly of Chesterton, IN. James was a resident of Oxnard CA (formerly of Chesterton IN), attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chesterton, attended Chesterton High School, and graduated from East Chicago Central in 2002. He was an Electronics Technician 1st Class in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. James is survived by children: Evelyn and Amelia "Jo Jo" Kelly; siblings: Jennifer Kelly of LaPorte, IN and Jeremy Kelly of Lowell, IN; grandparents: Ruth Healy of FL and James E. Kelly of Chicago Ridge, IL; mother of children, Jodi Craig; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents: Patrick Healy and Mary Kelly Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Dykes Funeral Home, 2305 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso, IN with Rev. Dave Kovalow - St. John, officiating. Interment, Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton, IN. Friends may call on Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Dykes Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the children's college fund. Dykes Funeral Home, Inc. (219) 462-3125.

I am so sorry for your loss. I played an online game with James and he was such a cool, upbeat funny guy. In the past year I have even thought of him from time to time even though we never met. I hope you can find some peace even in the midst of dark times like these.
