MARIE-LOUISE FRISINGER "MIMI" (NEE VARRIER) HIGHLAND,IN Marie-Louise "Mimi" Frisinger age 87, passed away November 14, 2012. Born in Normandy, France, Mimi met John J. Frisinger during WWII and soon after married him in June 1946. She moved with her husband to the United States to begin a new life and raise a family. Mimi is survived by one son, John P. (Frances) Frisinger of Crown Point; three daughters: Susan (Tom) Richards of Highland, Michele (Jim) Kaufmann of Jacksonville, FL, and Lynn (Dave) McAvoy of Highland; nine grandchildren: Chris Frisinger, Nikki (Eric) Tengberg, and Ryan Frisinger, Jessica (Tom) Langdon and Justin Richards, Matthew and Sarah Kaufmann, Nathan Hildebrandt, and Sydney Matuszak; four great grandchildren: Mary, Madison, and Aaron Langdon, and Gauje Bartelmey; two sisters: Yvonne (Marcel) Prou and Jeanne (Yves) Gaudfroy, both of Petit- Couronne, France; and many nieces, nephews, and friends in both the United States and France. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Frisinger. Visitation will take place at the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave. in Highland on Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held directly at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Highland on Monday with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Eric Kleinschmidt officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville. Mimi had a full life. She was active in Grandmother's Club (prayer service at 3:00 p.m.) since 1978, longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, volunteered at the Lutheran Haven retirement home, and was an avid horticulturist. Through all her activities, Mimi spread such joy and sincerity to all of those who have had the honor of knowing her. She will be dearly, dearly missed
