Lillian Borgman, 84, of Apopka FL, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2012. Lillian was born to the late Luke and Emma Vanderbilt on Valentine's Day, 1928 in Chicago Heights, IL. She married Raymond M. Borgman in 1947 and resided in Munster, IN until relocating to Florida in the 1980's. Lillian lived in the Apopka area for 12 years. Lillian was a homemaker and home renovator and she and her husband, Ray, "flipped" houses in the Chicago area for many years. She was a passionate musician, played the piano, and had a beautiful soprano voice. Lillian loved performing for area churches and recorded an album of Sacred Classics. She was a compassionate woman and raised two foster children. Lillian loved animals and there was always a menagerie of pets in the family. She was a very active member of every church that she attended and most recently was a member of the Rolling Hills Community Church of Zellwood, FL. Lillian always kept busy as a volunteer and spent countless hours visiting nursing home residents and taking care of those who were less fortunate. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Linda (Ronald) Boot of Apopka, FL, two sisters- in-law: Annette Tempco of Crete, IL and Nellie Jabaay of Jenison, MI; and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service for Lillian will be held in her home town of Munster, IN at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to Loaves and Fishes of Apopka, FL (206 East 8th Street, Apopka, FL 32703, 407-886- 6005) or the at "Praise ye the Lord, for it is good to sing praises unto our God."- From Psalm 147
