WILLARD BASCO MERRILLVILLE, IN
Willard Basco, age 92 of Merrillville, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Survived by son, Ray (Rebecca) Basco of Lake of the Four Seasons; grandson, Jeff (Becky) Basco of Leroy; three great-grandchildren: Britany, Eric, and Alex Basco. Preceded in death by wife, Jane and four sisters. Mr. Basco was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Tolleston High School and then served in the Marine Corps during W.W. II, where he received a Purple Heart. Willard was a retired carpenter from Local #1005. Funeral services were held for the family on Friday, February 8, 2013 with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
