RODOLFO QUINTANILLA "RUDY" EAST CHICAGO, IN Rodolfo "Rudy" Quintanilla, age 74, of East Chicago, IN passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Antonia (nee Sanchez) Quintanilla; four sons: Rudy, Jr. (fiancee Mary) Quintanilla, Rene (Laya) Quintanilla, Rolando (Tracey) Quintanilla, and Raul (Linda) Quintanilla; eight grandchildren: Melissa, Veronica, Stephanie, Jessica, Juan Rolando, Emma, Raul Jr. and Joshua; one great granddaughter, Elayna Davis; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers: Juan Manuel and Jorge Quintanilla. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the FIFE FUNERAL HOME, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd., East Chicago, IN and 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, East Chicago, IN with Rev. Juan C. Gonzalez, C.PP.S. officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Visitation at the FIFE FUNERAL HOME will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Rudy was owner and operator of La Pasadita in East Chicago. He retired from Construction Union Local #41. Rudy was an avid bowler at Plaza Lanes where he bowled a "perfect 300" game.
