WILLIAM T. SLAMKOWSKI DENVER, CO Bill Slamkowski, 49, of Denver, CO passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 of a sudden cardiac arrest as he was doing what he loved, mountain biking. Bill will be missed dearly by his mother, Kathleen Slamkowski of Highland, IN; brothers and sisters: John J. (Deirdre/ Mickey), Susan (Stuart) Williams, Michael (Monica), Patty, and David; and his much loved nieces and nephews. Bill was blessed to have an especially close relationship with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John S. Slamkowski; sister-in-law, Nancy Slamkowski; and nephew, Tony Williams. Bill's love of nature fostered his enthusiasm for mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. He attended Bishop Noll Institute, Villanova University, and Fordham University Law School. Currently, he was employed at Jackson and Kelly Law Firm. A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Walker Fine Art, 300 W. 11th Ave #A, Denver, CO. A memorial service will be held in Northwest Indiana at a later time.
