SANDRA "MAMOO" PARKER-SKEEN (NEE BENTLEY) PORTAGE, IN Sandra "Mamoo" Parker- Skeen (nee Bentley), age 70, of Portage, IN passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013. She is survived by her husband, John Skeen; four sons: Perry (Debbie) Parker of Gary, Keith Parker of Portage, Rodney (Amanda) Parker of Valparaiso and Bobby (Christine) Partain of Wheatfield; one daughter, Dee (Dave) Sokol of Valparaiso; seventeen grandchildren; two sisters: Janis (Greg) Francis and Landa (Ed) Chaffer; brother in law, Bill Parker; five step daughters; thirteen step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; several nieces , nephews and close friends. Mrs. Parker-Skeen was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Parker; parents: Curt and Hattie Bentley; parents in law: Stanley and Myrtle Parker; and sister in law, Carol Parker. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Mickey Hardy and Dan Nichols Ministers officiating. Interment will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Mrs. Parker-Skeen was a member of First Christian Church of Hessville. She was also a member of the O.E.S. Chapter # 583 of Griffith and was active in Job's Daughters.
