Nancy Piasecki

NANCY PIASECKI (WHITTINGHILL) VALPARAISO, IN Nancy (Whittinghill) Piasecki, age 77 of Valparaiso, passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2013. She was born on June 20, 1936 in Hegewisch, IL to James and Margaret (Pishko) Whittinghill, who preceded her in death. Nancy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harry Piasecki of Valparaiso; son, Paul A. (Kathleen) Piasecki of Portage; daughters: Susan (William) Boyden of Ogden Dunes, Sheila (Glenn) Haines of Chesterton, and Pamela Kittleson of Stevensville, MI; brothers: James Whittinghill of Peoria, IL, George Whittinghill of Valparaiso, and Michael Whittinghill of Lake Station; grandchildren: Bradley, Daniel, and Andrew Piasecki, Alec and Samuel Haines. Nancy was a graduate of Froebel High School and retired from NIPSCO. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved gardening and enjoyed her flowers. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368 with Father Andrew Corona officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. and Monday, December 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
