PAUL M. PLUMER CROWN POINT, IN

Paul M. Plumer, age 80 of Crown Point, IN passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013. He is survived by two sons: Scott Plumer of AZ and Samuel Plumer of Crown Point; former wife, Barbara Plumer; three grandchildren: Samuel C. Plumer, Jr., Sophia A. Plumer, and Sebastian P. Plumer; sister, Nancy (Chuck) Smith of NE; brother, Phillip Plumer of IA. Preceded in death by his wife, Veda; and brother, Bernard Plumer. Paul was a former member of Merrillville United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Paul was a graduate of Iowa St. University and was a retired mechanical engineer from Holland Co. in Steger, IL with 20 years of service. He was a former carpenter foreman at U.S. Steel for 13 years. Paul was a loving father and devoted grandfather. Family and friends may call at the Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Deacon Jim Keough officiating.
