My condolences to Elin's family. Though I did not know her personally I knew of her through my parent's involvement at the Hobart Historical Society. (William and Mary Glynn) When my mom passed away Elin sent my dad a beautiful letter about my mom and a personalized story about Mary Glynn's brownies. My father sent a copy of the letter to my brother and sisters and to me. It was a beautiful tribute to my mom and we cherished Elin's words. I facilitate a writing class on the healing power of words. I read Elin's letter to my participants as a perfect example of the power words received or sent can have and their impact in one's journey of grief and loss. Her words have and will continue to have impact on those
Who hear them. I do not have that same gift of words to give you about Elin but please know she touched my life with her words and will be remembered for that gift at a time my family was grieving. May you also receive precious words from those who knew her to ease your grief.
