KOEPPEL--Lillie. 92, beloved wife of David Koeppel (deceased) and Charles Elgart (deceased) died on March 5th in New York City. Lillie was a respected elementary school teacher who touched the lives of hundreds of students for over 25 years in the NYC Public School system. She taught and raised her family in Bayside, NY. Lillie was a devoted mother of two sons, Harvey Koeppel (NYC) and Jeffrey Koeppel (Westfield, NJ) and their wives, Peggy and Judith. Her extended Elgart-Koeppel family included 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Plaza Jewish Community Chapel, 630 Amsterdam Ave, NYC at 10am, on Tuesday, March 11.
