FEHER, ANTHONY
FEHER--Anthony Langford XIV, March 2, 1956 - June 24, 2016. Raised in Corpus Christi, TX, resided in New York City, he was 60 years old. A truly original artist who saw beauty in everything. A shaman and an alchemist who made magic out of thin air. Tony was a Gentleman, a Prince and a Queen. Always the life of the party, he was the first to arrive and the last to leave. An activist, collector, cultural historian, geologist, world traveler, carpenter, ballroom dancer, gardener, aviator, tart and a mighty raconteur. Above all, Tony was a transplendent friend. He is survived by his loving wife of seven months, Andrea Blum, his sister-wives Nancy Brooks Brody, Joy Episalla, Zoe Leonard, Carrie Yamaoka, his soul brother Mike Malena and a vast family of beloved friends. His parting words were "You all still look the same". Tony left us at 5:25pm in Bellevue hospice, surrounded by his chosen family, not before saying, "it ain't the Carlyle".

FISHER, JEROME
FISHER--Jerome. The Trustees, faculty, and staff of the University of Pennsylvania are deeply saddened by the death of our great friend and Emeritus Trustee, Jerome Fisher. A devoted alumnus of the University, Jerome served on Wharton's Board of Overseers, as well as on the Penn Medicine Board of Trustees. Jerome's memory will live on at Penn through the many ways in which he helped to transform the University's physical and academic landscape over more than two and a half decades. He and his wife, Anne, endowed the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology, a renowned model of interdisciplinary learning; supported the restoration of landmark campus buildings; provided scholarship aid; and established professorships at Penn Medicine. Jerome was extremely proud that five of his grandchildren continued his legacy by attending his alma mater. As we remember Jerome for his great warmth, devotion and service to the university community, we extend heartfelt condolences to Anne, his children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends. David L. Cohen, Chairman; Andrea Mitchell, Vice Chair; Amy Gutmann, President; Geoffrey Garrett, Dean, The Wharton School; J. Larry Jameson, Executive Vice President of the University of Pennsylvania for the Health System and Dean, Perelman School of Medicine
