McART--Donald Craig, D.D., passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. A diminutive man with large, prominent ears, he was known as "Bunny" to friends and an extra modest fellow to all. His long-term acting career began with Broadway's Kiss and Tell, television's Alfred Hitchcock Presents and movies with The Absent Minded Professor. He frequently starred at Jan McArt's Royal Palm Dinner Theatre, was a popular motivational speaker and spent the last four years on a U.S.-Canadian tour of Say Goodnight Gracie. He was scheduled to appear in sister Jan McArt's Play Reading Series at Lynn University. Don McArt is survived by siblings Dr. Bruce (Katie) McArt and Jan McArt; nieces Deborah Lahr (John) Lawlor and Kristin McArt (Al) Genske; nephews Kevin (Heidi) McArt. Scott McArt and David (Rita) McArt; grandnieces Katharine Lawlor, Madison McArt and Brooklyn McArt; grandnephews Evan Lawlor, Austin McArt, Grant McArt and Adam McArt. A celebration of his life will be held at 4pm, Friday, December 28, 2012, Wold Performing Arts Center, Lynn University, 3601 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if you would donate to to honor Don "Bunny" McArt.
