AUERBACH--Marjorie A. (Hoffberg), 83, of North Andover passed away Thursday, April 17, at the Meadows in North Andover. She was born in Queens, NY on December 10, 1930, daughter of the late Irving and Martha (Baer) Hoffberg. Marjorie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and later The Copper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Manhattan. She wrote and illustrated children's books and was a gifted artist both in her paintings and graphic design. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Leon Auerbach, her daughter Andrea P. and her husband Nicholas T. Papapetros, DMD, four grandchildren Theo, Isabella, Olivia and Zachary all of North Andover, nieces Paula Tessler and Gail Goldberg. She was also the sister of the late Henry Hoffberg. Her graveside service was held Friday, April 18 at Temple Emanuel Cemetery, Lawrence. There was no memorial observance. Services handled by the H.L.
