Diane Marie Parus

1949 - 2013
Diane Marie Parus, Senior Vice President at Target Research Group (Nanuet, NY) passed away July 15, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Diane was born September 6, 1949 in Rochester, NY, and graduated with honors, earning her degree in Applied Mathematics in three years. Her brilliantly analytical mind and facility with numbers brought her into the field of market research where she led a career spanning more than 30 years. Over the course of her career, she gained extensive expertise in designing, implementing and analyzing custom market research studies, as well ads attitudinal, behavioral, need state segmentation, brand equity and new product development studies for a broad range of industries, including food/beverage, CPG, pharmaceutical (Rx and OTC), financial and business-to-business.

Beginning as a market researcher and analyst at Market Facts (now Synotec) in 1980, Diane advanced to Vice President within six years. In the ensuing years, Diane was Vice President at Research International (1986 – 1992), Senior Vice President at Research Perspectives International (1992 – 2010), and most recently Senior Vice president at Target Research Group. Shunning credit for herself, she always made sure her team was recognized for their contributions, and she inspired loyalty in both client and subordinates. Diane was known for her honesty and integrity in business as well as her wonderfully collaborative and responsive relationship with clients. She was also uncommonly generous and genuinely kind and will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
