Dear Laurie, Rick and the Edelman Family,
George was a remarkable and genuinely first-class person. By getting to know George at the Renaissance in Pompano and at his Birthday Celebrations, it was terrific to hear how sincerely proud he was of his family and your achievements and accomplishments!
We miss his smile and enthusiasm for people and life, and George will always be in our hearts.

George was my cousin, but more than that a friend. We shared a passion for tennis and he loved to talk about the Peck family. (My family). Our deepest condolences to Lori, Jamie, and Rick and the rest of George's family. I will be at the Arthur Ashe statue on the first day of the US Open in his memory. Steve and Mary Ann Haar

I had the honor of working with George for the past 7 years in Florida. He was an amazing man who contributed so much to the world. I will miss him. Sending much love to Lori and the rest of his family and friends. Kathy Lee

Dear Rick, Laurie and Jamie,
Diane Ziff just told me that the Bear has passed on. I am very sad. George had a lasting and meaningful positive impact on so many. On a personal level, he tolerated me as a demanding child, and helped me grow and mature. He guided me as a counselor, and supported me as I found my way. Recently, I left my job as President of PSEG Energy Holdings in New Jersey to sign on as Executive Vice President of Vail Resorts. I tried unsuccessfully several times to reach George to let him know that I finally found my camp.
Thank you for sharing the Bear. He meant a lot to me and so many others. He will be greatly missed, but also greatly remembered. Randy Mehrberg
