BLAU--Harvey R., businessman, philanthropist, and community leader died on January 19, 2018 at age 82. Beloved husband of Arlene for 53 years. Revered father of Stephanie and Ron Kramer, Melissa Blau, Victoria and Paul Orlin. Proud grandfather of Nicole and Danielle Kramer and Edward and Sophia Orlin. Devoted brother of Dr. Jeffrey and Lynn Blau. Funeral services 11am on Sunday, January 21st at Temple Emanu-El, Fifth Ave at East 65th St., NYC. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to NYU Langone Health, Development Department, 1 Park Avenue, 5th Fl. NY, NY 10016 (212) 404-3711.

I am so sad to hear this. My heart goes out to Arlene and family. Harvey was a dear dear man and I loved him like a father. What a pleasure he was to work with and our conversations were always lively, fun and enlightening. He will be sorely missed. Heaven is blessed to have him.
