I recall your father from my days at JTS as well as when he would come to visit Joseph in Montreal. He was such an open and personable individual. In addition, his scholarship will serve as an everlasting tribute to him.

May the memories you have of him serve as healing consolation in the coming months and years. HaMakom yenachem etchem b'tokh sha'ar a veiled Tsiyon v' Yerushalayim.

To the Hyman Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
