SAMI ROHR Obituary

ROHR--Sami. The Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI) and its 350 affiliates worldwide mourn the passing of Mr. Sami Rohr. A man of vision and action, whose love of G-d, his fellow Jew and humanity were integrated into an irresistible force for good, he led by peerless example. His work continues to live and grow in the work of his children and in the tens of thousands who come through the doors of Chabad Houses and educational institutions worldwide. In the flames of their souls, his own flame grows ever stronger. We join with the many around the world who during the week of mourning are dedicating the traditional study of Mishna to his living memory, connecting us all to the Light at the source of all life. We extend our deepest sympathy to his son and daughter-in-law, George and Pamela Rohr, founding benefactors of the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute (JLI), to his daughters and son in laws Mrs. Evelyn and Shmuel Katz, Mrs. Lillian and Moshe Tabacinic, to his grandchildren, and to the entire family. May the Almighty comfort them among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. May they find true comfort in the legacy of his passion and love for the Jewish people. Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman Rabbi Efraim Mintz, Executive Director
