LAUDER--Evelyn H. The Breast Cancer Research Foundation grieves the passing of Evelyn Lauder, our visionary Founder and Chairman--and much-loved friend. Evelyn's passionate action and determination to improve the health of women and families led her to establish BCRF in 1993, and her single-minded dedication to finding a cure for breast cancer never wavered. She inspired us daily with her grace and elegance, and her leadership and friendship made each of us better and stronger. Her irrepressible sense of humor made her instantly approachable and loved by everyone who met her. She made us laugh! We cannot imagine a world without her, but her example propels us to carry on in her memory. Our hearts go out to her beloved husband, Leonard, her sons, William and Gary, of whom she was so very proud, and her entire family whom she loved so dearly. Myra Biblowit, President Jeanette S.
