SHRIVER--Eunice Kennedy. The world all over has lost a Giant of a Woman - Eunice Kennedy Shriver, and she was a very special Gift from God! We have been deeply blessed all of these years by this valiant and dedicated woman who founded the Special Olympics, who gave hope and love to hundreds of millions of people with intellectual disabilities. We also shared a great love for our beloved Blessed Mother Teresa and tried to live by her words. To quote Mother: "Intense loved does not measure, it just gives." "The world today is hungry not only for bread but hungry for love, hungry to be wanted, and to be loved." "If we pray we will believe; if we believe, we will love, if we love we will serve." These quotes all epitomize the life of Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Once again, we thank Almighty God for putting Eunice in this world. Eunice will long be remembered and ever loved by the people she touched and will truly be missed! The D'Urso family feels privileged to have known Eunice, as a special close friend, we will treasure our friendship forever. We love Eunice dearly. I thank Almighty God for putting Eunice in my life. When Eunice met Our Lord and His Blessed Mother Our Lord said, "Well done, thy good and most Faithful Servant!" As one of His apostles who walked on this earth helping those with special needs, I know Our Lord welcomed Eunice to heaven with open loving arms, and as her reward He will make her a new saint. With a heavy heart Florence D'Urso and her family send their profound sympathy and dearest love to her devoted and loving husband Sarge and their children all the Shriver and Kennedy families.
