PENN--Irving. The Lauder family and Clinique send their heartfelt condolences on the passing of Irving Penn. Irving Penn was an iconic photographer who had tremendous and inspirational impact on the beauty industry. He revolutionized the advertising for Clinique when he began photographing for the brand in 1974. The beautifully stark, pristine image of a clear glass holding a large toothbrush under the headline "Twice A Day" was first placed in the New York Times and remains one of the most recognized images in Clinique's history. Mrs. Estee Lauder described Irving Penn's work as "The Perfect Picture." His Clinique photography eventually went on display at the Modern Museum of Art in New York City. Irving Penn was a treasure and a trailblazer. The Lauder family and Clinique give their condolences to his family and many friends. Leonard A. Lauder, Chairman Emeritus Ronald Lauder, Chairman, Clinique Laboratories William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman Fabrizio Freda, President and CEO Lynne Greene, Global Brand President, Clinique, Origins, Ojon
