JAMES C. MANNY

MANNY--James C., of Harpswell, Maine died February 26. Jim was born in New York City on March 21, 1933. He was a graduate of the Buckley School, St. Paul's School, Yale University and Harvard Business School. Before retiring to Maine in 1993 he lived in New Canaan, CT for 20 years. He was president of Composition Systems Inc. in White Plains. He was a member of the New York Yacht Club, Huguenot Society and Mystic Seaport. He leaves his wife of 59 years, Abigail, six children, Alison Doucette (Tom) of Stow, MA, Walter Manny (Amy) of Peterborough, NH, Alix Manny (Charles Cook) of Norwich, VT, Timothy Manny (Serena) of Barrington, RI, Abigail Newport (Jason) of Norwalk, CT and Ailsa Fox (Jason) of New York City. He also leaves 15 grandchildren. Donations in his memory may be made to the Horizons Student Enrichment Program, c/o New Canaan Country School, P.O.
