HUNTER Karen (nee Spilke). Died instantly on September 2, 2005 when the plane she was piloting crashed near Teterboro Airport. Dr. Hunter, a clinical psychologist, had a successful practice in Brooklyn Heights. She was a graduate of the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, Antioch College and the Union Theological Seminary before obtaining her Ph.D. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Irene Hunter, of San Diego and New York, and her mother, Marilyn Spilke, of Ardsley-onHudson, her brother Ken Spilke, of Seattle, and her sister Sandy Dea-Jue, of Dobbs Ferry. She will be sorely missed by her family, many friends and patients. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to a charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held today, 10 AM at Edwards Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue (exit 17 Saw Mill), Dobbs Ferry, NY.
