SEYMOUR LEVINE Obituary

LEVINE--Seymour,

of New York and Torrington, CT passed away on November 12, 2015. It is with profound sorrow that the partners, associates and staff of Troutman Sanders and its predecessor New York firm, Parker Chapin, mourn the passing of its former senior partner. Mr. Levine was Chairman of Parker Chapin's trusts and estates department for many years. He was loved by his clients and highly regarded by the New York Trusts and Estates Bar. A member of several bar associations' committees on trusts and estates, as well as a member of the American College of Trusts & Estates Counsel, he was listed in "The Best Lawyers in America for Trusts & Estates." Mr. Levine was a 1952 graduate of Harvard Law School. He will be sorely and truly missed. To his family, we extend our heartfelt sympathies. Troutman Sanders LLP

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Seymour has been like a 2nd father to me my entire life. He has looked out for my siblings and myself, especially since our mother passed away in 1997. I will miss him terribly!

Uncle Seymour was very intelligent, generous with his time, and very kind and very caring. He was a wonderful uncle and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
