ZUCKERMAN--Abraham. Yeshiva University and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law extend their heartfelt condolences to Millie Zuckerman and to Ruth and Steven Katz and their entire family on the loss of Millie's husband and Ruth's father, Abraham Zuckerman. Ever-vital and engaged members of the Yeshiva University and Cardozo Law families, the Zuckerman and Katz families have been steadfast in their friendship and generous in their philanthropy. Steven's many years of service on the Cardozo Board of Overseers, begun during the law school career of his daughter Hillary '04, and his and Ruth's support for the law school's scholarship, building and public service programs extends Abraham's legacy into the present day. Abraham Zuckerman's lifelong dedication to honoring the heroism of his wartime protector Oscar Schindler continues to illuminate the work and inspire the lives of new generations of university and law school students. Abraham's post-war business success in New Jersey, the fullness of his home and community life and his loving devotion to the task of memorializing Oscar Schindler have left a vibrant legacy. We join his family in affirming his extraordinary life and in deeply mourning his passing. Yeshiva University Richard M. Joel, President
