BERNSTEIN--Adam Laurence, age 36, passed away suddenly at home in Manhattan on June 18. He was the beloved husband of Jessica Manis and the cherished son of Lori Walzer Bernstein and the late Allen J. Bernstein. He also leaves his grandmother, Selma Walzer, a sister, Stacey Stolar, and niece Sarah Stolar, and a loving family and dear friends deeply saddened by this untimely loss. He will always be remembered for his warmth, generosity of spirit and appreciation of life's absurdities. Adam had a keen interest in history, art, music, and antique cars, and a great love of animals. He was a caring friend, teacher and mentor. He had built a successful career in the foodservice and hospitality management industries. He received his undergraduate degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, at Syracuse University and his master's degree from the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was an adjunct professor at Monroe College. Services will be held at 11:30am today at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76th Street. Interment will follow at the Knollwood Park Cemetery section of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Queens.
