ALLAN SCHRANZ Obituary

SCHRANZ--Rabbi Allan.

The entire congregation of Sutton Place Synagogue mourns the loss of Rabbi Allan Schranz, who led the synagogue from 1999-2012. He captivated and provoked us with his brilliant sermons; he was there for any congregant in need. Under his leadership, the Sachs Educational Center was built to house the Stanley Kaplan Nursery School and Jackson Religious School, fulfilling his vision that Jewish learning must be accessible to all. Our condolences go out to his beloved Ellen, his children, Asher (Haley) and Molly. May his memory be a blessing. Rick Kaminer, President Rachel Ain, Rabbi

I do not remember if I contacted you, Ellen, but Roberta and I were saddened when hearing of Allan´s passing . You & Allen we´re a wonderful part of our entering synagogue life & we still think of you both.
I do not know if you will receive this.
If it´s meant to be.....
