Our deepest sympathy on the lass of Anne. She was a wonderful lady and we will miss seeing her during her visits to Blue Hill, Maine.

I was saddened to learn of Professor van Buren's passing. I never met her in person, but I corresponded with her in 1999 when she generously gave me permission to reprint her reconstructed plan of the Parc of Hesdin. Her work continues to be an inspiration to me, as to so many others.

I was sorry to hear about Anne. She was my MA supervisor at Tufts University, Mass. and the first to introduce me to the mysteries of manuscripts research, which I then implemented in my own studies and in my Ph.D dissertation on Hebrew medieval manuscripts.
My family and I will always remember her and Paul.

We have lost a great friend to many generations of creative people, her family and her friends.
I was grateful to have been part of this circle of family and friends.
We will miss you Anne.
Much love and prayers.
