CARR--Dr. Arthur C. (Art) Age 95. Art died peacefully listening to Mahler's Resurrection Symphony on Monday, January 13, 2014. Dr Carr was a distinguished Professor of Clinical Psychology at both Columbia and Weill Cornell Medical College where his expertise was clinical psychiatric diagnoses utilizing psychological testing. He shared this knowledge with his many colleagues in treatment and research and with his many students. He was also a lifelong lover of art, especially Pop Art. He was an early collector of distinguished artists such as Robert Indiana, Agnes Martin, and Andy Warhol. His apartment, filled with art, was a joy to visit. Art was a remarkable man, intelligently kind, talented and steadfast. A funeral service was held in Lancaster, NY.
