RINZLER--Carl, MD, 73, died on March 25, 2013, at his home in Hudson, NY, of advanced lung disease. Born on June 9, 1939, he received his BA from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from New York University. He practiced psychiatry in Manhattan and Hudson, both in private practice and in affiliation with Mount Sinai Hospital, the William F. Ryan Community Health Center, and Columbia Memorial Hospital. Dr. Rinzler is survived by his three children, Michael F., Jane Buckingham and Paul Lodro; his brother and sister-in-law, Richard Curry and Cinnamon Anne; his sister, Deborah, and two grandchildren. His dear friend Stephanie Tsandikos was a source of great happiness and solace to him in his final years and days. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31, at 12:30 pm, at the Shambhala Meditation Center of New York, 118 West 22 St., in Manhattan.
