STAMP--Christopher Thomas. Died November 24th, 2012. Chris discovered and co-managed The Who in 1964 with Kit Lambert, until 1974. Performing in Detroit, Roger Daltrey paid tribute telling the audience Chris "flew into the universe on a pair of rainbow wings." Born July 7th, 1942 in London, Chris moved to New York in 1976 where he met his wife Calixte. Married in 1979, she survives him as do his daughters Rosie and Amie from a first marriage, their beloved husbands and children, his siblings Terence, Richard, John, Lynette and his Maltese dog Lola. Chris, and his wife, worked in private practices as psychotherapist and healers specializing in trauma repair, body work and addiction treatment. His life will be celebrated at the Whaler's Church, Sag Harbor, at 2 pm, December 4th. Donations can be made to the Chris Stamp Memorial Fund at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary www.wolfmountain.com.
