DANIEL LEAB Obituary

LEAB--Daniel J., of Washington, CT and New York City on November 15, 2016. -- Author, Editor, Professor, Historian, Film expert and enthusiast. He lived life boldly and colorfully for 80 bustling, productive, travel-filled years. He died on his own terms, slipping away quietly at home while watching a movie he loved, family by his side. He was known for his hearty, reverberating laugh, his signature red cashmere socks, and his deep love and devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren, all of whom adored him.

We will miss him so much ! He was always a dear friend and mentor in the field of American Communist history. So kind and so funny--nobody like him. He will be much, much missed.
