What a gem of a man. Universally loved by all, a true gentleman. I knew Don in his senior years and he taught me how to row a Rowing shell on the Speonk River when he was in his late 80's. We spent many happy hours on the river rowing and enjoying the natural beauty of our area. He will bring a smile to my face every time I think of him. He will be greatly missed.

I will be forever grateful for Don entering my life. He was my role model and inspiration for the way a man should care and act in this world. He may be gone, but his spirit will live on in the many people he touched with his kindness and goodness.
