EDITH MASTER Obituary

MASTER--Edith Louise, daughter of Dr. Arthur M. Master and Hilda Altschul Master of New York City, died August 18, 2013 at the age of 80. Edith was a champion equestrian and a member of four U.S. Olympic teams. When she won the bronze medal in team dressage at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, Edith became the second-oldest United States woman to win an Olympic medal in any sport. She is survived by her sister, Camilla M. Rosenfeld, her brother-in-law Isadore Rosenfeld, her niece, Hildi Rosenfeld Silbert, and her three nephews, Arthur Rosenfeld, Stephen Rosenfeld and Herbert Rosenfeld. Services are private.
