I was so saddened to hear about Manny's passing. Only a few years ago, Judy and Manny visited my daughter to bring baby gifts and offer heartfelt congratulations on the birth of her new babies. The car was stacked to the ceiling with these goodies and Manny even took the best pictures of the kids. I hadn't seen Judy and Manny in years and was so happy to share the afternoon. I have fond memories of Candlewood Lake and appreciated Manny's many artistic talents. His best talent was in choosing a wife. Judy, Stevie and Suzie please know that I think of you all often.

I served for 17 years with manny as a state senator from brooklyn. He was a brilliant floor leader, and could debate any proposed legislation. He was firm in his moral stands on the death penalty and in favor of a woman's right to choose. but more importantly he was a friend

I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Senator Gold. I was a page in the NYS Senate working my way through college when the Senator served the State of New York. I remember him as a respected and refined dignitary, a kind man with an elegant manner and easy sense of humor. A leader and scholar held in high regard by people on all levels and on both sides of the “aisle”. I offer my sincere condolences to the family of this dedicated and talented man.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Senator Gold. I remember him well in the Senate for many years. Especially when he asked me to his office to view his photographs of the state buildings he took. A talented man and a great orator in the Chambers. My condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Senator Gold. I knew him for many years in the Senate and enjoyed his photography talents. Especially those he showed me he took of the government buildings in Albany. A great orator as well in the Chambers. My condolences to his family.

My heart feels heavy, hearing about the passing of the incredible and brilliant Emanuel R. Gold Esq.
I was fortunate to briefly work with him in Forest Hills, NY. Mr. Gold was always forthright and supportive. I most appreciated his insight into state politics and the changing legal profession. I am comforted knowing that Mr. Gold respectfully served NY and the community for many years and positively affected many people. It still deeply saddens me that the Legal Profession and the sphere of Public Service has lost a Passionate and Loyal Advocate for Justice.
With heartfelt condolences,
