Ferdinand Gottlieb Obituary

GOTTLIEB--Ferdinand (Fred), died peacefully at home in Dobbs Ferry on October 27. He was 88. A noted architect, he designed numerous landmark structures and was a decorated WWII veteran who, after escaping from Nazi Germany, lived in British Palestine before emigrating to New York in 1937. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bernice, their children Peter, Richard, and Susannah, and grandchildren Degen, Michael, Bobby, Samantha, Inbo, and Zoli. The funeral will be at Westchester Hills Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, on October 29, 2:00 pm.
