HANS WITSENHAUSEN Obituary

WITSENHAUSEN--Hans S.,

86, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 19, 2016. While employed at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ, he worked in the field of applied mathematics and published over 70 professional papers. He was born May 6, 1930 and was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his son Michael and his sister Madeleine. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Helen, son Bob (Lisa Morris), daughter Laura Abruscato (John) and grandchildren Eli, Jared and Lily. Donations in his memory may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, American Society for Yad Vashem or the American Technion Society. The family is grateful to his devoted caregivers.
