KANTOR--Herbert Charles, 83, died on February 18, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy; his loving children, Patricia (Weldon), Robert (Gail); his adored grandchildren Amanda, Allison, Zachary, Drew, and Emma; his dear sister Marilyn; and his devoted nieces Barbara, Karen, and Lizzy. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dorothy. Herb was a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and cum laude from Harvard Law School. After serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, Herb co-founded the law firm now known as Kantor Davidoff Mandelker Twoomey Gallanty & Olnick, P.C. where he practiced until his retirement in December 2013. Herb was an avid tennis player, skier and rollerblader. He was a brilliant, loving and kind man who will live in our hearts and thoughts forever.
