Mr Zweibon was a sweetheart of a guy-funny, kind and generous. And he loved his family more than anything. I should know-I feel privileged to have been a great friend of his son Don for nearly 40 years now. Thanks for everything Mr Z-you were one of a kind..

I knew Herb as a "boss," when I served as the Director of AFSI in the 1980's, a friend, and a fighter for our mutual causes. And there is one word that best describes him: A "Mentsch."
Herb was reliable, understanding, and committed to the cause of a strong Israel. In my three decades in America, I encountered few American Jews with the kind of love, zeal, and dedication Herb had for Israel, Zionism, and the pioneers of Judea and Samaria.
May his memory be a blessing to all of us.
With deepest sympathy, and my heartfelt condolencesto Shiela and the boys,
Joseph Puder

What a loss for all of us who counted on Herb’s acumen and steadfastness. He was someone I looked up to and respected for his honesty, integrity, sense of justice and commitment to the State of Israel and the Jewish people. He and AFSI made a difference in our lives and his memory will be forever a blessing for his contributions. My condolences to his wife, children and grandchildren.

Herb was a stalwart of a vibrant, forceful expression of Israel and Zionism, a champion of the Land of Israel, the Jewish communities throughout Judea, Samaria and Gaza and a follower of Shmuel Katz. He promoted the idea of a full realization of the Jewish national identity in deed, in thought and in achievement.
I was prvileged to know him for over three decades and to work with him and for him.
He will be missed so very much.
