ISABELLE RAPIN Obituary
Dr. Isabelle Rapin, Professor Emerita in the Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology and Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a seminal figure in academic child and adult neurology, she authored more than 250 unique scholarly contributions in lysosomal diseases, communication disorders, and particularly autism through outstanding/compassionate patient care. She trained generations of clinicians and biomedical scientists, emphasizing neurological diseases as "lifespan disorders".
