BERMAN--James S., 71, on January 6, 2012. Architect, inventor, commodore, and generous friend, Jim gave everything to the people he cared about. Of his many achievements, he took greatest pride in living a magical life as a member of the Berman family. He will be forever missed by wife, Donna; children, Jessica, Leigh, Ben and Lynn; children-in-law, Lane, Rosalie and Yejin, and grandchildren, Sloan, Cary, Adam and Chase. Service at St. Thomas More, 65 East 89th Street, Saturday, January 14, 10:30am.
