SWEITZER--John, 62, passed away peacefully on June 29 at his home in Forest Hills, NY. Born June 12, 1952, John was a graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, where he was awarded a BA degree in English in 1974. He also earned an MBA degree in Marketing from Baruch College of the City University of New York and worked for many years in marketing for several luxury goods companies in New York City. He is survived by his brother, Raymond, a Jesuit priest in residence at Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, NY, and his passing is mourned by his extended family and many friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Raymond and Mary Sweitzer of Queens. A wake will be held from 2pm to 5pm and from 7pm to 9pm on Sunday July 6 at the Fox Funeral Home at 98-07 Ascan Avenue, Forest Hills, NY. On Monday July 7, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, at 110-06 Queens Boulevard, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery (Pinelawn) in Farmingdale, New York.
