A graduate of Princeton and Harvard Law, Larry had a distinguished law career in New York City which included the 1984 recovery from East Germany of 49 works known as "The East German Pictures" of Bauhaus artist, Lyonel Feininger. I worked with Larry in NYC on several large litigations in the late 1980's where he was the partner on the case and I was a senior associate. I learned a great deal from Larry. He was both smart and fair as well as a terrific teacher. RIP.
