ANNAN--Marilyn Agnes, passed away on Thursday, October 10, in her beloved, "beautiful" Bronx. She was born on August 27, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY. She was a loving and dedicated daughter of Frances Annan, until Frances' death in June of 1984. Marilyn is survived by her goddaughter Dea Perez (nee Connick); Dea's husband Dominique; their daughter Gemma; many "nieces" and "nephews;" and countless friends that loved her dearly. Marilyn was pre-deceased by her closest friend of 40+ years, Mary H. Connick, and Mary's husband, Brendan (Joseph) Connick. Marilyn, a longtime librarian at The New York Times, retired in 2001. A wake will be held at Williams Funeral Home, at 5628 Broadway (at West 232nd Street), in the Bronx, on Monday, October 14, from 2pm to 5pm, and 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:45am, at Our Lady of Refuge Church, 290 E 196th Street, Bronx, on Tuesday, October 15.
