DITZIAN--Michael David, age 69, of Manhattan, NY, passed away on September 10, surrounded by his adoring family: his devoted wife of 38 years, Barbara, his children Jaime and Eric, Eric's fiance', Fleur, and his sister Maralyn. Michael grew up in Rockville Centre, graduated cum laude from Amherst College, earned his law degree from Cornell University and his Master of Laws from New York University. In 1968, he served as an active-duty member of the United States Army in Vietnam. He joined Davis & Gilbert in 1971, rising to Managing Partner and being recognized as one of the leading attorneys handling mergers and acquisitions in advertising, public relations and marketing. He was proudly and continually committed to the Lymphoma Research Foundation and Amherst College. Donations may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Services will be held Monday, September 13 at 11:45am at Riverside Memorial Chapel 180 W 76th St. He will be remembered always for his kindness, honesty, generosity and devotion to his friends and family.
