GOLICK--Morrie. Morrie Golick in his 102nd year. As was his wish, he peacefully passed on at home, without pain, surrounded by loved ones. Last surviving brother of Rae Koster, Albert and Nathan Golick. He had unwaivering dedication to family and friends. Treasured by his daughter Susan, her husband Alan Wasserman, "second family" Penny and Steven Goldberg, and loving grandchildren Lauren and Matthew. Adored uncle to Howard, Toby, Roberta, Stephen, Robert and Ann Beth and devoted Great Uncle. Distinguished career: Member of Massachusetts and Illinois Bar; Assistant Naval Attache to American Embassy in Union of South Africa; founded Golick Brothers and later Golick Martins, Inc, confectionary brokers. In 1970, founded SLE Lupus Foundation. He was selflessly philanthropic and had a strong sense of ethics. An avid bridge player, always sharp and with gentle elegance. He will be greatly missed and always loved. Funeral Thursday 11:15, Riverside Memorial, NYC.
