MURRAY HYSEN

HYSEN--Murray, age 87, of Somerset, NJ, formerly of Great Neck, NY died peacefully at home on May 19. He was Vice President Director of Market Research at Wells, Rich Greene after being the Associate Director of Market Research at J. Walter Thompson. He worked on many iconic Ad campaigns from the 1960s to the 1990s before starting his own company, Murray Hysen, Inc. He taught statistics at Queens College. A graduate of NYU where he received a Bachelors and Masters Degree, he also served in the US Army in World War II. Devoted son of the late Dora and Nathan Hysen of Brooklyn, NY, survived by his cherished wife of 58 years, Arlene Hysen, loving sons Jeffrey Hysen of Silver Spring, MD and Lyle Hysen of Hoboken, NJ, daughters-in law Susan Hysen and Lisa Chernick, and adoring grandchildren Eric Hysen, Dylan Hysen, Charlotte Hysen and Juliet Hysen.
