ADLER--Norma, 84, of Framingham, formerly of Manhattan, died peacefully on June 30, 2014, at home. Born in Philadelphia on November 30, 1929, the daughter of the late William Greenberg and Ida (Charney) Greenberg, Norma graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls and Drexel Institute of Technology. She pursued a career in advertising, and later developed an advertising and marketing industry executive search business in Manhattan. Following her love of art, she enrolled in the Art Students League of New York at the age of 60, and found her passion in abstract art and a community. She lived life fully, enjoying theater, travel, social action and a circle of close friends. She leaves behind her dear cousins, Karen Margolis and Victor Nussbaum of Framingham, and their children (her grandchildren) Leah, Daniel and Jared, and her dear friend Ina Torton. She is survived by her loving sister Annette Bodzin, and nieces and nephew, Kate Scheinman, Robert Scheinman and Wendy Kadens. She was predeceased by her son, John Adler. Graveside services will be held July 3, 2014, 11:30am at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to The Art Students League of New York to help fund the Norma Adler Scholarship.
