BLACK--Page Morton, on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at age 97. She was a great lady, known for her philanthropy, shrewd intellect and deep caring for all those who had contact with her. The widow of William Black, founder of Chock Full o' Nuts company, she served on the Board of Directors of Chock for many years, was for 30 years the active Chairman of the Board of the Parkinson's Disease Foundation, and was involved with many other charitable organizations. She was also a professional singer who performed at many of the top New York venues, and was known to millions as the one who reminded them that "Chock Full o' Nuts is that heavenly coffee". She was a great friend who will be sorely missed. Interment will be private and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
